We realise that the process of designing your own kitchen can be a daunting experience (as well as exciting we hope). We have a small and experienced design team who have developed a process that keeps you, the customer, fully involved at every stage, to create a beautiful and functional kitchen.
Firstly we need to discover what you’re looking for. We’ll take time to understand what you need from your new kitchen, discuss your design preferences and what is really important to you, as well as how much you’re looking to spend. We’ll also ask to visit your home to take some detailed measurements, conduct a site survey and to take some notes about your décor choices and any unique characteristics in your home which we may need to consider.
Using the brief, we can create a digital design of your proposed kitchen. This will provide you with some detailed information on: layout and positioning of appliances, a rendering of your design style and a costed inventory of the kitchen. All the information that you need to make a decision.
Editing and refining the layout concept is then part of a discussion with you. This is the exciting part, discovering what’s liked and what might need altering after reviewing the concepts. Selecting the final appliances, door handles and furniture and where possible including some additional extras which will help with storage and practical usage to enhance how your new kitchen functions.
On agreeing the design and inventory we can begin to plan for installation. We produce detailed drawings so that our customers, design team and fitters are all working from the same plan.
At Unique Kitchen Company we give our customers the option of commissioning us to project manage their installation from start to finish. We invite you to use our preferred team of expert installers or alternatively you can deal direct with your own fitter if you prefer. (This is an option often used by customers who are having extensive renovations to their home.) We can deliver the items to your home and the installation can be co-ordinated by your own team.
